From 14-08-2026 to 16-08-2026, Elst (Gelderland) welcomes bicycle enthusiasts from all over the world for a unique and inspiring event: the International Bicycle Caravan Meeting.
Important: Due to high expected attendance, we require pre-payment this year. Payment details will follow once available.
BBQ is allowed (please consult the owner first in case of drought). A large refrigerator is available for general use.

Wild camping is strictly prohibited in the Netherlands. Use:
Germany enforces strict vehicle safety rules (StVZO).

France is very bicycle-friendly but has specific safety requirements.
Bivouacking: In many natural areas, it's allowed to set up your tent or caravan for one night (between sunset and sunrise). Check local signs.

In Scotland, wild camping is legal under 'Right to Access' legislation, as long as you respect nature. In England and Wales, you always need landowner permission.
Belgium largely follows European guidelines with some local nuances.
Wild camping is prohibited. Make use of the many Bivouac zones (campsite poles) specially designed for cyclists and hikers in nature.
